OTSELIC – The Lady Vikings scored one of two goals in the first half against McGraw to keep the game close. Unfortunately, the loss of two key players in Otselic Valley’s lineup to start second half changed the tone of the game and the Lady Eagles were able to run away with the game, winning 8-2 on OV’s home pitch Monday.

“After the loss of to girls at the beginning of the second half, the game and our play went downhill from there,” said Otselic Valley’s head coach Lori Wood.

Rachel Loomis of the Lady Vikings tallied both of the home team’s goals – recording one in each half of the game – as she took passes from teammates Grace Costa and Payton Guernsey.

Leading McGraw’s offensive attack were Emily Fish and Andrea May as each player tallied two goals in the game while the Eagles had five different players register in the scoring column.
