“A Missing Curiosity” Family Story Night With Author Kari Kron.
Published: September 30th, 2019

OXFORD – A child’s curiosity helps them learn as they grow, and it is something that should be encouraged even as they get older. Join the Oxford Memorial Library at 6 p.m. October 3 for a fun story time with Author Kari Kron, as she reads her children’s book entitled: “A Missing Curiosity”. This is a funny and thoughtful tale about Parker Porcupine, who has lost his curiosity, and his friend Mortimer Mouse who helps him find it.

This is a free event that is open to the public. Families that attend will receive a copy of A Missing Curiosity, as long as supplies last. After the story, there will be some fun and interactive activities to engage everyone’s curiosity and encourage them to explore things around them even more.

According to an Amazon.com biography “Kari Kron was born in Hartford, Connecticut in 1968. She grew up in Avon, Connecticut, where her father taught physics and chemistry for 40 years. She moved to South Plymouth from Phoenix, AZ 10 years ago. She is an adventurer like her female relatives. Her great grandmother moved from Germany to the US by herself. Her grandmother was born in Brazil and raised her family in Montana. Her mother moved from Montana to Connecticut and at the age of 45 completed her solo flight in a single engine plane. Kari has lived and traveled all over the US, Europe and Australia. She received her industrial engineering degree from Northwestern University and has been a supply chain consultant for the manufacturing and construction industries for the last 21 years. She completed and self-published "A Missing Curiosity" in 2016 and loves to read her story for others whenever she can.”
