NORWICH – On Monday the Norwich VFW and City of Norwich will honor veterans with a parade, and memorial ceremony in East Park.
The parade will begin at about 10:40 a.m., and it will travel down East Main Street to East Park. The
ceremonies will take place at 11 a.m., in honor of the end of World War I, with the formal agreement to end the war taking place at the 11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month in 1918.
The parade will begin setting up at 10:15 a.m., with parade participants meeting behind Norwich's Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) building on East Main street.
