MORRIS – Weaver’s Farm Market in Morris is celebrating its customers after more than a year of growth in the area. Representatives said the business plans to continue investing locally and providing organic and affordable goods.
Weaver’s Farm Market is owned and operated by Daniel Weaver and his family. The Weaver family is Amish, and has been running the store located at 1272 East Side Road with Amish principals in mind.
“Our number one goal is to glorify God in all we do,” said Weaver. “For our customers we focus on providing personable customer service, cleanliness, and a quality product at a fair price.”
Weaver’s Farm Market customer Milan Djurdjevich said he was at the store’s grand opening, and that he has returned weekly since.
“The biggest draw for me is that everything is locally produced and sold by a Christian and family run business,” said Djurdjevich. “By purchasing things here, I know it’s going right back into my community.”
Djurdjevich said excellent customer service has also been a big draw for him.
Weaver said the ongoing support from the community has allowed the family to expand the business from a market stand to a full store.
He said currently Weaver’s Farm Market includes goods from 45 different local farms, crafters, and bakers. He added that the market buys the goods from the local vendors and then sells the items in the store.
