DCMO BOCES To Provide Free Drive-through Food Service To Students
Published: March 19th, 2020

NORWICH – Responding to the need to ensure food access during the COVID-19 crisis, DCMO BOCES will provide a free drive-through food service to students in the community beginning Thursday, March 19th at both the Chenango and Harrold Campuses. On Mondays through Fridays from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., students’ family members may drive through either main campus entrance where staff members will provide a “To-Go” bag. Families are asked to remain in their vehicles and let staff know how many students they need food for. “To-Go-Bags” will contain items suitable for breakfast or lunch.

“During this difficult time when families are experiencing unprecedented challenges,” District Superintendent Perry Dewey said, “our staff members are developing initiatives to address students’ needs. Filling the meals gap for students who cannot come to school is an important first step.”

The DCMO Chenango Campus is located at 6678 County Road 32 in Norwich and the Harrold Campus is located at 270 BOCES Drive, Sidney, NY. For more information please call 607-335-1200.
