CHENANGO - The Community Foundation for South Central New York announces the opening of the CFSCNY COVID-19 Response Fund with an initial distribution of $80,000 from their own special funds. An appeal to current donors to the Foundation has already raised an additional $43,000.

The CFSCNY COVID-19 Response Fund will support organizations providing essential services to the individuals and communities in the most rural counties served by the Foundation; Chenango, Delaware, Otsego, and Tioga.

“We know that non-profits in the entire region are facing unprecedented demands for services as the pandemic evolves, and our four most rural counties, with some of the most isolated communities and individuals, are in dire need of funds.” said Diane Brown, Executive Director.
