CHENANGO – Thursday morning the Chenango County Department of Health confirmed there are 53 cases of COVID-19 in Chenango and that five of those cases led to people being hospitalized.

The health department also confirmed 62 residents were under a precautionary quarantine and 358 residents are under mandatory quarantine.

So far about 265 tests for the virus have been administered in the county. A total of nine people have so far been hospitalized and 10 people with confirmed cases have made full recoveries.
