New leadership at Chenango Health Network Kimberly A. Lorraine

NORWICH – The Chenango Health Network Board of Directors has selected Kimberly A. Lorraine as their new Executive Director.

Kimberly most recently served as the Executive Director of the United Way of Delaware and Otsego Counties.

“It was an unusual start amid COVID-19," says Lorraine. “I have been getting to know the CHN staff and the Chenango County community remotely.”

Kimberly brings many years of successful grant writing and program management to Chenango Health Network. “This is a top notch organization, in a tight knit, supportive community. I am very impressed with how the leaders here pull together to get things done and I am eager to be a part of that,” said Lorraine.

“After conducting a thorough search, we were thrilled to select Kimberly as the next Executive Director of the Chenango Health Network,” said Chair of the Board of Directors and Vice President of Service Coordination and Development at UHS Chenango Memorial, Chris Kisacky.

“Kim’s experience in non-profit administration along with her extensive work designing and implementing programs that focus on the social determinants of health make her perfect to lead Chenango Health Network into its next chapter.”

Working with Lorraine to increase access to health and wellness information and to healthcare services in Chenango County, is a new slate of officers and three new board members. At the June 20 annual board meeting, Debra Marcus, CEO of Family Planning of South Central New York, Kendall Drexler, Executive Director of Hospice and Palliative Care of Chenango County, and Brian Wessels, Director of Chenango County Area Agency on Aging, were unanimously voted in as Chair, Vice Chair and Secretary and Treasurer respectively.

Three new board members were also officially approved at the annual meeting. Kerri Green, President and CEO of Commerce Chenango, Elizabeth Beers, Director of Services at Chenango County Department of Social Services, and Gabby Skillen, Administrator and Executive Director Chase Rehab in New Berlin, will each bring their unique perspectives on health and community to the CHN Board of Directors.

“I have been on the board of directors for Chenango Health Network for more than 15 years and I am delighted to help our highly qualified new Executive Director ensure that the Chenango Health Network continues its vital role in supporting the health needs of individuals and improving community health.” said Marcus.
