GUILFORD – Starting today, July 13, the Chenango County Department of Public Works will close County Road 36, between the intersection of Wahlberg Road / Whites Hill Road and the intersection of Aldrich Road / Oxford Road in the Town of Guilford, for the replacement of a large culvert crossing under County Road 36.

This closure shall be in place from the stated date of closure until the culvert replacement project on County Road 36 is complete.

There will be no on-site detour. The traveling public is asked to seek alternative routes.

All large delivery trucks especially tractor trailer traffic is asked to use County Road 35 to County 32 or NYS Route 12 as an alternative route around project site.
