NORWICH – Through the weekend of August 14, Hidden Springs Brewhouse in Norwich will be celebrating their one year anniversary with live music, good food, and fundraisers to support non-profits.
During the weekend celebration, the brewhouse will be holding an auction with a variety of prizes. The proceeds will go to benefit the Chenango SPCA and Norwich YMCA.
In conjunction with the NYS Brewers Association's Peace, Love, Beer and Music festival, Hidden Springs Brewhouse is releasing a new beer, Mango Cream Ale, on tap. For every pint of the Mango Cream Ale that's sold, the brewhouse will donate a dollar to benefit the NYS craft beer industry and NYS Bar Association.
According to the NYS Brewers Association the festival is taking place on the 51st anniversary weekend of the original Woodstock event. The Peace, Love, Beer & Music Festival is a celebration of New York State craft beer and the extended community of musicians and artists.
The weekend celebration will feature live music from Rickety Fence, Our Common Roots, as well as Bruce Beadle and Mike O'Connor. Food will be provided by Hubcap Munchies for the entire weekend, and Columbus Public House will be cooking up barbecue chicken on site Saturday.
