SHERBURNE - Rogers Environmental Educational Center in Sherburne is gearing up for an event that puts an eco-friendly twist on the classic American car show.

The second annual electric car show at Rogers will be held Oct. 4, coinciding with the organization’s ongoing raffle fundraiser in which ticket holders have the chance to win a 2015 model Tesla Model S electric vehicle.

“We felt as though the electric car is kind of a niche that’s not explored by a lot of people,” said Rogers Executive Director Simon Solomon. “So we wanted to bring that to the forefront for people of Chenango County.”
