GILBERTSVILLE – A man in South New Berlin is facing misdemeanor and felony charges after allegedly shooting a six-month-old pig with a pellet gun, violating an order of protection, and lying to law enforcement in a series of interviews.
According to New York State Police Troop C Public Information Officer Aga Dembinska, at approximately 7:30 p.m. on August 30 New York State Police at Sidney charged Robert W. Youngblood, 34, of South New Berlin with overdriving, torturing, and injuring animals.
Dembinska said Youngblood was also charged with second-degree criminal contempt, obstructing governmental administration, and second-degree making an apparently sworn false statement.
