CHENANGO – Jeremy Loveland of Sherburne, has been inducted to the DCMO BOCES Alumni Hall of Fame, a program that honors career and technical education graduates who have obtained a leadership position in the occupational field in which they studied.

According to Director of Career and Technical Education Jennifer Waite,, the selection was difficult, “So many of our graduates are achieving amazing milestones.  Loveland’s nomination was exceptional as it also included his community involvement.”

Loveland has supported the technical instructional support team at DCMO BOCES.  His commitment was described by his nominator, Sandra Sheldon as exemplary.

“Jeremy goes above and beyond when helping people,” said Sheldon.

Beyond his long-term career with BOCES, Loveland is also a long-time member of the Sherburne Fire Department and EMS where he also serves as an EMS instructor.  “He works long hours with the fire department over the weekend without complaining on the additional workload,” said Sheldon.  Loveland also supports the Sherburne Pageant of Bands each year.  “I think anyone who knows Jeremy, or who had the pleasure of working with him would agree that he is an excellent choice for the DCMO BOCES Alumni Hall of Fame,” concluded Sheldon.

“He provides a role model for our Career and Technical Education students.  We are so proud to welcome Loveland to this exclusive group and use his story to inspire our graduates to achieve more," said Waite.
