OTSELIC – Two men are facing a variety of drug related charges after police claim they stopped the men in a rental vehicle filled with 69 bags of heroin, some methamphetamine, drug packaging materials, and a scale.
According to Chenango County Sheriff Ernest Cutting Jr., at approximately 2:50 p.m. on Monday, March 1, members of the Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division conducted a traffic stop on Coakley Road in the Town of Otselic.
The driver of the vehicle police stopped was Chad A. Youngs, 31, and he was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and two counts of second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
