WATERVILLE - Sherburne-Earlville's defense had no answer for Canasota running back Devon Youker.
Youker scored four of his team's touchdowns in the first half helping his team build a huge bulge in a 35-0 victory over the Marauders on Saturday afternoon.
"He was awesome," said Sherburne-Earlville coach Ed Holmquist of Youker. "He's a quality athlete, and really, (Canastota's) whole program is top-notch."
According to unofficial statistics, Youker had TD runs of 42 and 72 yards in the opening stanza as the Red Raiders built a 21-0 lead.
With the lead expanded to 28-0 late in the first half, the Marauders' offense drove inside the Canastota 20 before turning the ball over with a fumble.
Youker then delivered a back-breaker scoring on an 89-yard scoring dash with less than a minute left before halftime.
