CHENANGO COUNTY – The Chenango Greenway Conservancy is pleased to announce the first matching grant opportunity in support of the Stone Quarry purchase.

Reese-Marshall Heating and Cooling will match every donation made to the Chenango Greenway Conservancy, dollar for dollar, up to $5,000.

This generous donation will double the value of contributions made in support of this community project, and is available only for a limited time, through Friday April 9th.

Lisa Colabelli of Reese-Marshall said, "Reese-Marshall has been a proud member of the Chenango County area since 1942. We are excited to support the Chenango Greenway Stone Quarry project through our matching contribution up to $5,000 total, as we understand the history and importance of the quarry to our community. This parcel provides some great trails to walk and a beautiful view of the City of Norwich and beyond. We look forward to doing our part to conserve this important piece of our history for our current residents, visitors and future generations to come."

The Chenango Greenway Conservancy is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) public charity organized in 2006 to develop a network of multiple use recreation trails in and around the City of Norwich. The Greenway Conservancy has a contract to purchase the Stone Quarry and is conducting a fundraiser to raise enough money to buy it.
