SOUTH OTSELIC - DeRuyter scored two late second-half goals, and prevailed over Otselic Valley, 3-1, on Friday night.

DeRuyter capitalized on an awarded penalty kick, and Gavin Richardson converted the go-ahead goal for the Rockets with 12 minutes left in the game

“We had some opportunities, and just missed to take the lead or tie up the game,” said OV coach Jacob Preston.

Garrett Wood scored in the first half for OV,a nd Lane Adams was credited with an assist on the play.
