Windsor tennis team volleys past Norwich
WINDSOR - Windsor picked up multiple dominant victories, and earned five team points in a 5-1 victory over visiting Norwich on Friday.
Zach Burpee and Alejandro Chavarria won at first and second seconds by 9-0 and 9-1 over their Purple Tornado counterparts. At first doubles, the Black Knights’ Nathan Wickizer and Noah Rollo grabbed a 9-3 win.
Norwich’s Nathan Franklin earned his team’s lone victory. Franklin defeated Windsor’s Aidan Kapushchinsky, 9-6.

SIDNEY - Sidney avenged a loss to Oxford from earlier this month using a sweep of the three singles matches to prevail by one point over the Blackhawks.
Oxford garnered its two team points at first and second doubles.
Natalie Barrows and Madalyn Barrows teamed for a victory at first doubles, and Jocie Finch paired with Jill Finch for a straight sets win at second doubles.

DELHI - Delhi’s tennis team remained unbeaten against Midstate Athletic Conference competition taking all five team points from Greene on Friday.
Alex Haight, Hunter Sanford, and Brandon Bodo set the tone for the Bulldogs winning all three singles matches in straight sets, and allowing just one total game to the Trojans.

OXFORD - Oxford’s golf team recorded its lowest team score of the season in a comfortable victory over Deposit-Hancock at Bluestone Golf Course on Friday.
Liam O’Brien had a season-low 45 to lead the Blackhawks capped by a birdie on the par-five ninth hole.
Brothers Christian and Bennett Paden added 47s with the former picking up a birdie on the par-four third hole.
Sylas Emerson carded a season-best 51 for Oxford, and Ethan Fleury closed out his team’s scoring notching a 56.

EDMESTON - Unadilla Valley-GMU’s golf team improved its record to 7-0 in the spring season beating Bainbridge-Guilford at Red Pines Golf Club on Friday.
Dominick Hartwell medaled for UV-G-MU shooting a 2-over-par 38. Hartwell’s posted number was six better than the next-best score on the course.
Brandon Kneale was next for UV-G-MU shooting a 46, while Owen Hill and Gavin Bonczkowski turned in matching 49s.
Carson Benjamin led B-G shooting a 44.
UV-G-MU plays at Oxford Monday.

SHERBURNE - Sherburne-Earlville’s Andrew Fern nearly matched par for the course finishing with a 1-over-par 36 to lift the Marauders past Mount Markham Friday at Mountain Top Golf Course.
Keegan Kane added the S-E scoring balance firing a 40, Brogan Winton shot a 44, and Maleah Britton carded a 51.
