The Chenango Shredders mountain bike team is not only affiliated with the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) but also Trips For Kids - Chenango Inc., a youth development organization that was formed in October of 2017. The mission is to provide mountain bike outings and environmental education to kids, and in particular, those who would not otherwise have these opportunities. TFK uses the bike and trail experiences to promote healthy lifestyles, and teach lessons in personal responsibility, achievement and environmental awareness for young people of all communities and diversities.
