OXFORD – The Oxford Farmers’ Market is off to a great start this season, with 20 - 25 vendors setting up every Saturday, 9am to Noon on Lafayette Park.
This Saturday, June 12, vendors will be offering a wide selection of vegetable and bedding plants; fresh seasonal produce; eggs galore, dairy products, including regional cheeses; locally raised beef and lamb; artisanal breads and baked good; hard ciders; syrup and honey; as well as hand-made soaps, and hand-crafted items for the kitchen and home.
Folk fiddler, John Potocnik, of The Barn Cats will be performing solo by the fountain, 10 am - Noon, bringing his mix of Celtic and original dance music to this festive Market.
Face masks and respectful distancing are encouraged on Lafayette Park during Market hours as an additional safeguard for the most vulnerable in our community, including those who are not yet vaccinated.
