AFTON – Commerce Chenango and title sponsor NBT Insurance Agency are pleased to announce the winners of the 34th Annual Summer Golf Event, hosted at the Afton Golf Club in Afton on July 22, 2021.

The event featured 16 teams vying for the number one overall place in the golf match. Participating golfers also competed in a variety of individual contests including putting, longest drive, highest score, and more. The participating teams and their captains were supported by Commerce Chenango chamber members.

In the overall team competition, first place went to Jill Eddy, Jeff Armstrong, John Fern, and Rob Hill with NBT Bank (A); second place was Dave and Dylan Mack, and Mike and Brett Smith representing Golden Artist Colors; awarded third place was Jamie Gaudreau-Moore, Jeff Newton, Mike Asma, and Matt Lake representing Preferred Mutual Insurance Company.

Other contest winners included; Amy Branham, putting contest; Rob Hill & Rosario Baio, closest to the pin (M); Cathy Lounsbury, closest to the pin (L); Jeff Newton, longest drive (M); and Amy Howard, longest drive (L). Winning the Skins cash prize was Preferred Mutual Insurance Company, Pivotel, Golden Artist Colors and Hidden Springs. Congratulations to all of our winners!
