NORWICH – The Chenango United Way has begun its fundraising efforts to serve social programs that assist the local community.
Local organizations seeking the charity's support need to fill out an application by October 15, and will be announced early next year following a review and vote.
Chenango United Way Executive Director Elizabeth Monaco expressed her excitement for the new process in a notice sent out to potential applicants.
“I am looking forward to a strong campaign and some excellent opportunities to fund great programs in our local community over the next two years,” she stated.
She described the online process as easy to use, and hopes it will reduce errors found on applications.
