NORWICH — Some City of Norwich streets received some TLC this month, courtesy of the Norwich Department of Public Works (DPW). DPW spent the last few weeks repaving several residential streets in the city.
The project began on August 9. DPW Superintendent Ed Pepe said the repaved streets included Auburn Street, Waite Street from Silver Street to Lee Avenue, West Main Street, River Street, Berry Street from Silver Street to Adams Street, Jones Avenue, South Rowley Avenue, and Rexford Street.
"We are also putting in five new spaces in at the Baker Dog Park, parallel parking spaces," he added. "Those are done, not open yet but they're done."
