NORWICH - Norwich's girls' tennis team pair two forfeit victories with two outright wins in singles in a 4-1 victory over Owego on Monday afternoon.

Jolei Powell gave the Tornado girls their first team point at second doubles topping Owego's Mia Jones, 6-2, 6-2. At third singles, Willow Swingle was taken to three sets by Owego's Zoe Zachary before prevailing 7-6 (8-6), 2-6, 10-7.

Chloe Glanville grabbed a forfeit win for Norwich at fourth singles, and the Tornado doubles team of Leona Tyler and Meadow Rosenthal also received a forfeit.

Norwich travels to Windsor on Friday.
