GREENE - At Greene High School last weekend, Norwich’s varsity girls opened with a victory on the road upending the Trojans by 18 points.
Nina Kman led Norwich in the individual events taking the 100- and 200-yard freestyles. She won with times of 59.93 seconds, and added a 2:11.81 in the 200.
Tanner Olds (200 individual medley), Mikayla Sastri (100 butterfly), and Eva Blenis (500 free) picked up individual victories as Norwich built a 75-29 lead after the 200-yard freestyle relay.
Skyler Nowalk won the 50-yard free for Greene timing 28.88 seconds.
“Both squads swam a great first meet,” said Greene coach Mary Kelly. “We all look forward to improving upon these swims as our seasons progress.”
