NORWICH- In front of a loud and rowdy crowd at Norwich High School’s Echentile Pool Tuesday night, the Norwich girls’ varsity swim team defeated the Susquehanna Valley Sabers by a score of 74-60 on senior night.

It was an all hands on deck performance for a young Tornado team who have added seven freshman after losing six seniors to graduation in June. Despite their new-comers to the team- Norwich recorded seven first place finishes on the evening. Nina Kman finished first in the 200 yard freestyle in a time of 2:11.63 and added a victory in the 100 yard butterfly in a time of 1:11.58. Adyson Whaley claimed the top spot in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 30.79 seconds.
