NORWICH — Longtime Norwich resident, business owner, and now mayoral candidate John Quattrocchi held a town hall meeting last night to meet with voters, explain his ideas, and answer questions.
"I've lived in Norwich all my life, 50 years of my life. I've been involved in community activities, different activities. I decided after a number of years, my children are raised now and I have a grandchild, that I have the time that I can focus on some politics stuff with the City of Norwich. I have investments in the City of Norwich, I have an apartment house, I have vacant land in the City of Norwich, and I'm a primary resident," he said. "I'm a part of the community. But as I stated in my letter, we're at a critical crossroads where we want to go in the City of Norwich, what direction we want to go in."
Several community members attended the town hall, and the group discussed a wide range of topics including revitalization of city parks, generating revenue, reducing crime, and more.
