Boys' soccer: Clinton 6, Sherburne-Earlville 1
CLINTON - Clinton broke out offensively early on scoring three goals in the game's first 20 minutes in Monday's home victory over Sherburne-Earlville (3-10-1).
Dan Scholl scored his ninth goal of the season for S-E to stop the Clinton momentum, but the Warriors closed out the Marauders with three more tallies.
Joe Frank and Aiden Wilcox had two goals apiece for Clinton.
Sherburne-Earlville travels to DeRuyter on Wednesday.

SHERBUNE - On an evening where Sherburne-Earlville's large contingent of seniors were recognized, the Marauders put together one of their best performances of the season winning for the third time this season.
Dan Scholl, the Marauders' leading scorer, put in his seventh goal of the season just five minutes into the game, but the Blue Devils responded right away scoring off the kickoff on a Seth Johns goal.
From there, it was all Sherburne-Earlville.
Sophomore Avery Parsons scored his first varsity goal following a set-up pass from Andrew Fern, and Scholl capped a strong first half of offense converting a shot on a tough angle.
Sherburne-Earlville (3-9-1) travel to Clinton on Monday.

NEW BERLIN - In a non-league matchup against former rival Schenevus, the Dragons squeaked out the victory at the last possible second on Friday.
Trevor Schneider figured in all three Schenevus goals assisting on the first two, and scoring the game-winner as time expired.
"It was a very back and forth, and both teams had many good chances," said UV/G-MU coach Josh Burchill.
Owen Hill had one goal and one assists for UV/G-MU, and Trason Murray tallied the other goal.

Girls soccer: Otselic Valley 2, Madison 0
SOUTH OTSELIC -Otselic Valley put together two pretty goals - one in each half - to shut out visiting Madison on Friday.
Rachel Loomis scored the first of her two goals off a through ball from Susanna Lyon to Katie Kenyon, who then tapped it to Loomis for the score.
Loomis scored the next goal on a set play. Kali Waltz executed the cornerkick, and Loomis headed it in.
"We created many opportunities and defended well," said OV coach Cindy Buerkle. "Emily Smith anchored the defense, and Cassidy Will came up big again in goal."

SIDNEY - Sidney held Unadilla Valley's high-scoring offense in check, and prevailed in overtime over the Storm on Friday afternoon.
Emma Simmons scored both goals for the Warriors, the first coming in the second half that forced the overtime period.
Simmons scored unassisted midway through the first overtime to give the Warriors the edge.
UV (7-4) took a 1-0 lead into halftime on the strength of Katrina Smith's goal. Isabella Potter assisted on Smith's tally.
