Norwich, UV/G-MU play to a tie
Norwich 1, Unadilla Valley/G-MU 1 (OT)
NEW BERLIN - Despite a season-high 43 shots, Unadilla Valley/G-MU put just one goal past Norwich goalie Athen Genute as the two Chenango County schools played to a tie in a non-league matchup on Tuesday.
Trason Murray scored UV/G-MU’s goal off a Josh Meade pass to give the host club a one-goal advantage.
Gehrig Sastri knotted the game for Norwich later in the half forcing the overtime period.

Greene surging as regular season nears its end
Greene 4, Unadilla Valley 0
GREENE - Greene moved over the .500 mark, and beat its second straight Chenango County rival with a plus-.500 record in as many matches blanking Unadilla Valley Tuesday.
Cassie Butler contributed to all four Trojans goals. Butler assisted Cali Knapp for the first half’s lone goal.
From there, the offense picked up quickly for Greene (6-5-1).
Knapp scored again seven minutes into the second half, and Butler tacked on two insurance goals 17 minutes into the second half, and with 4 1/2 minutes remaining in the game.
UV’s mark fell to 7-5 on the season.

OXFORD - Unatego broke a 1-1 halftime tie with Oxford scoring two unanswered goals in the second half to earn the road victory on Tuesday afternoon.
Tatum Codington had all three Spartans goals to earn the hat trick.
Codington broke the tie just 2 1/2 minutes into the second half, and she added a key insurance goal with just over two minutes remaining in the game.
“Our offense made a lot of opportunities tonight; however, nothing was connecting,” said Oxford coach Sierra Badger. “We played strong, it just wasn’t enough tonight.”
Hailey Fleury scored unassisted for Oxford.

GREENE - Chenango Forks showed superior depth, and picked up big points in the first two relays and the diving competition to pull away for the victory on Tuesday.
Greene’s Skyler Nowalk continued to shine in the sprint relays.
Nowalk won the 50-yard freestyle in 28.61, and added a win in the 100-yard freestyle timing 1:05.67.
Greene coach M.K. Kelly also noted standout performances from Madison Pavlovich, who swam a season-best in the 100-yard butterfly, while Alexis Clark clocked in with a season-best time in the 100-yard backstroke.

GREENE - Whitney Point’s overwhelming offensive attack led it to another shutout victory over Greene on Tuesday afternoon.
Brenna Bough had a hat trick for the Golden Eagles, and she added one assist. Four other Whitney Point players added goals in the victory.
