Cubbedge was released on an appearance ticket to return to Plymouth Town Court on October 27. Frazer was arraigned and released on his own recognizance. The judge scheduled him to appear in the Plymouth Town Court on October 27.

Cubbedge did not respond for comment by press time on Thursday, but she posted to her “Cubbedge for Sheriff,” Facebook page the day of her arrest,

She posted, “I went with a friend to handle a personal situation, thinking my presence would keep things from getting out of hand. Unfortunately, false allegations were made, and we need to let the process work.”

A little while later she commented on her own original post saying, “Wow. The stories get better and better! I was charged with trespassing.”
