CHENANGO COUNTY – As of Tuesday there are 120 active cases of COVID-19 in Chenango County, 35 of which are vaccinated, and five individuals are currently hospitalized, one of which is vaccinated.

The Chenango County Department of Health confirmed there have been 4,959 total cases of COVID-19 in Chenango.

There have been 86 confirmed deaths.

The health department also confirmed there are 297 residents under quarantine, and 4,764 total recoveries.

So far approximately 156,797 tests for the virus have been administered in the county.

Additionally, the health department confirmed that 59.1 percent of the total Chenango County population has received at least one vaccine dose, and 70.7 percent of the 18 years and older population has received at least one vaccine dose.
