CHENANGO COUNTY – As of Tuesday there are 284 active cases of COVID-19 in Chenango County, 77 of which are vaccinated, and eight individuals are currently hospitalized, none of which are vaccinated.

The Chenango County Department of Health confirmed there have been 5,787 total cases of COVID-19 in Chenango.

There have been 91 confirmed deaths.

The health department also confirmed there are 645 residents under quarantine, and 5,510 total recoveries.

So far approximately 167,715 tests for the virus have been administered in the county.

Additionally, the Health Department confirmed that 61 percent of the total Chenango County population has received at least one vaccine dose, and 72 percent of the 18 years and older population has received at least one vaccine dose.
