HARTWICK — The New York State Police are asking for the public’s help in obtaining information about a burglary that occurred in the town of Hartwick.

The incident occurred on Poplar Avenue, between the evening of Sunday, January 2 and the morning of Monday, January 3. It is reported that the suspect or suspects unlawfully entered the residence of an elderly victim.

The victim sustained physical injuries, and was transported to Basset Hospital. It is reported that the victim is in stable condition.
