CHENANGO COUNTY – As of Wednesday there are 546 active cases of COVID-19 in Chenango County, 254 of which are vaccinated, and 12 individuals are currently hospitalized, none of which are vaccinated.

The Chenango County Department of Health confirmed there have been 6,931 total cases of COVID-19 in Chenango.

There have been 92 confirmed deaths.

The health department also confirmed there are 721 residents under quarantine.

Due to changes in case reporting and tracking, tracking the total number of recoveries is not as precise. The health department stated they will no longer be reporting this number.

So far approximately 180,497 tests for the virus have been administered in the county.
