Congresswoman Tenney Launches Tour Across NY-22 to Thank Frontline Workers, Distribute At-Home Tests Congresswoman Claudia Tenney.

WASHINGTON, DC – Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-22) launched a tour this week across New York’s 22nd Congressional District to meet with and thank frontline workers and first responders for their tremendous service and contributions over the last two years.

In addition, Tenney will distribute a limited supply of at-home COVID-19 tests to first responders, schools, nursing homes, and non-profit entities that provide vital services to our community. The tests were received by Tenney’s congressional office from New York State and are being provided to frontline workers and first responders across all eight counties of the 22nd District. This includes YMCA Oneida in Madison County, the New Berlin Fire Department in Chenango County, the Utica Police Department in Oneida County, and the Herkimer County Hunger Coalition in Herkimer County, among many others.

“Our first responders and frontline workers are the unsung heroes of this pandemic. They served our community with distinction from the darkest days of the pandemic to now. I am honored to launch this tour across the 22nd District to not only thank them, but also to distribute at-home tests as we strive to ensure they remain open and continue serving the most vulnerable in our community. We must return to normal and re-open our economy, and as we do, ensuring access to reliable testing remains an important priority,” said Tenney.
