GIRLS' BASKETBALL

Oxford 51, Unadilla Valley 43

OXFORD - Oxford needed a big second half to turn the tide against Unadilla Valley and escape with an eight-point victory on Tuesday night.

Despite its four-win total on the season, the Storm have been competitive in a number of games where it just fell short.

UV (4-14) took a one-point lead into halftime keyed by a big 3 from Kadence York.

The Storm expanded their lead to 33-28 midway through the third following consecutive buckets from Madison Sayles, Keona Courtright, and Jaiden Schrag.
