ALBANY — The Chamber Alliance of New York State (CANYS), a statewide association of over 70 Chambers of Commerce, has elected Kerri Green, President and CEO of Commerce Chenango, to its Board of Directors.

Ms. Green officially began her term in January 2022. She brings with her over twenty years’ experience working with chambers of commerce, economic development initiatives, and advocacy throughout Chenango, Otsego, and Delaware counties. She is the President and CEO of Commerce Chenango, having held that leadership position since August 2019.

Kerri is a fierce advocate for the greater business community and dedicates much of her time to service the constituents in her county. She participates regularly with statewide organizations such as NFIB, BCNYS, and is an active member of the NYS Economic Development Council. She serves on the Chenango County Planning Board, Family Planning of South Central New York, Chenango Health Network and the Sidney School Board of Education.

In addition, she dedicates time regionally as a board member for Southern Tier 8, works closely with Empire State Development and is a Chenango County representative on the Southern Tier Regional Economic Development Council. Kerri’s background includes higher education, radio sales/broadcasting and entrepreneurship. Kerri has a marketing degree from SUNY Delhi, and has also served in the United States Army.
