NORWICH — The City of Norwich Youth Bureau will be screening a free showing of the movie "Dog" at 2 p.m. on Monday, February 21 at the Colonia Theater in Norwich.
"It's always at the Colonia, always president’s weekend," said Youth Bureau Director Anthony Testani. "School is closed and so we think it’s a great idea to get kids out on a school day like that, a little matinee for them."
Tickets are limited to 200, and can be picked up at the city offices while supplies last.
"City offices from 9 [a.m.] to 5 [p.m.], now until the 21st," said Testani. "First come, first served. Once the tickets are gone, they’re gone."
"The ticket to the movie also gets you a box of popcorn this year," he added.
The movie showing is made possible through a partnership with the City of Norwich, and the grant funding they received through the Statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrant program through the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the governor and the New York State Legislature, and administered by the Earlville Opera House.
