HANCOCK - At Fox Bowl on Tuesday, Unadilla Valley’s boys and Greene-Oxford’s girls captured Midstate Athletic Conference tournament championships.
Unadilla Valley, which finished behind Hancock in the regular season standings, claimed the title by 42 points over the Wildcats.
UV fashioned a 2,985 three-game total, and were led by Owen Hill’s 659 series.
Greene-Oxford sprung a bit of an upset tallying 2,585 total pins to edge regular season champion UV by just 12 pins.
UV’s regular season mark included a perfect 48-0 record and two match victories over Greene-Oxford.
UV’s Bryn Grant had overall individual honors tossing a 622 series. Greene-Oxford was led by Brianna Fowlston’s 598 triple.
