“During the course of this arrest, Anthony refused to comply with the uniformed police officers, and a foot pursuit began. Anthony was eventually taken into custody and was found to be in possession of a large quantity of methamphetamine and U.S. currency,” reported Detective Sergeant Reuben Roach.

“We have seen a large spike where individuals are entering random homes when they are under the influence of methamphetamine. We encourage all Norwich residents to keep their doors locked, even when they are home, and to immediately report suspicious activity in their neighborhoods to the police department,” states Detective Roach.

Anthony was arraigned at Norwich City Court and held on no bail, to return at a later date. The investigation is continuing and further charges may be added at a later time.
