CHENANGO COUNTY – The Chenango County Fair announced recently that ten $1500 scholarships will be awarded to current New York State high school seniors and also students enrolled in college.

The New York State Association of Agricultural Fairs and the New York State Show People’s Association sponsor the scholarships.

The qualifying students must be active at the Chenango County Fair or with the New York State Show People’s Association. Application is open to all applicants regardless of your field of study.

However, additional consideration may be given to those applicants pursuing a degree in a field related to agriculture, fair management or the outdoor amusement business.

All applicants from Chenango County must submit their application through the Chenango County Fair no later than Friday, April 8, 2022.
