OXFORD – The Oxford Blackhawks Tennis team got shutout by Delhi on Monday afternoon by a score of 5-0.

In the Singles matches, Delhi's Tabor Reed got by Oxford's John Rovente in both matches with scores of 6-3 and 6-1.

Hallee Bodo for Delhi won a close 7-5 match vs Ethan Ehly and also had a 6-2 win in match two.

To close out the single round, Risson Reed defeated Sam Hendricks 6-0 and 6-1.

For doubles, Madalyn Barrows with Ethan Ehly played Owen Haight and Bryce Burrows in three matches. Madalyn and Ethan took match one 6-4 but Owen and Bryce won the others with scores of 6-0 and 6-1.

Jill and Jocie Finch were defeated by Ryan Burrows and Tyler Branigan by scores of 6-2 and 6-1.

Oxford will be back in action against Chenango County neighbors Greene on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
