DELHI– The UV/GMU storm baseball team traveled to Delhi on Monday, where they lost 11-5.

UV/GMU put up three runs in the first, but failed to score again until the fifth inning, down 8-3 and couldn’t make the comeback.

Dalton Proskine led the Storm on offense with three hits and two RBIs, including a home run in the seventh inning. Owen Hill and Wyatt Meade also contributed to the Storm’s 10 hits on the day.

UV/GMU pitchers combined with seven strikeouts in the loss.

The Storm look for revenge when they host Delhi on Thursday afternoon. Gametime is set for 4:30 p.m.
