OXFORD — The Oxford Farmers’ Market welcomes back the fabulous John Truth Experience to the Bandstand this Saturday, June 18. Band members Joel Huizinga, Mark Stacey, Rick Czebiniak, and Michael McGuane play a unique brand of Americana rhythms, written in what they call “the wire of their experiences."
The Market is open from 9 a.m. to noon in Lafayette Park with live music starting at 10 a.m. Jenni's golden voice and Tom's rhythmic piano ring out songs from the American songbook, vintage country, fiddle and Irish tunes, and more.
The Market's dozens of vendors this week will be selling high-quality products including local plant starts for the garden; an abundance of fresh picked seasonal produce; dairy products and regional cheeses; locally raised and processed pork, lamb, and chicken; artisanal breads and baked goods; locally grown and milled grains and flours; Awestruck Ciders: syrup and honey harvested right here in Chenango County; hand-made soaps; exquisitely hand-crafted items for the kitchen and home; and locally raised wool and handmade wool items.
