He has worked as a science department chair, and as a coach/advisor to many different teams and clubs. He has served as a mentor and supervisor for aspiring administrators and pre-service teachers.
Colosi has been involved as a volunteer in many community organizations including Sherburne Rotary Club and Chenango United Way, serving as the campaign co-chair in 2020. He is supported in this role by his family; Kelly, his wife, who is a school social worker with the Norwich City Schools, and two children, Emma and Abby. He looks forward to working with students, parents, and the community in this role.

Afton Upon his appointment, he indicated that he is very proud and looking forward to being a part of the school community. We are confident that Colosi will serve the District with the same Afton Knight dignity and pride that we all share for our school.
