NORWICH — The Chenango County Health Department will be hosting a free pop-up COVID booster clinic from 1 to 3 p.m. on Monday, June 27 in Weiler Park, located at 33 Borden Avenue in Norwich.
Available boosters include Janssen, Pfizer, and Moderna. Those who received one dose of the Janssen vaccine and are 18 years and older are eligible for a second dose.
Pfizer boosters are available to individuals 18 years and older who received either two doses more than five months ago, or who have received two Janssen vaccines at least four months ago. Also eligible are individuals 50 years and older who have received two previous doses and one booster at least four months ago.
Moderna booster vaccines are available to individuals 18 years and older who received two doses more than five months ago, or received two Janssen vaccines at least four months ago. Also eligible are individuals 50 years and older who received two doses and one booster at least four months ago.
Appointments are not needed for the clinic, and attendees will need to complete a health screening before receiving their vaccine, as well as wait at the clinic for 15 minutes after receiving a booster.
