NEW BERLIN – There’s a new leader atop the South New Berlin Horseshoe Club as Kelly’s Flowers is two games ahead of the previous leader, Carpet Plus Color Tile. Ed Kohler and Lee Coon reign with a record of 24-8 ahead of Roger Chase and Robert Glover at 22-10. P&E-Chris Eastman and Bill King - and Harrington’s Tree Service -Danny Harrington and Lance Gage - are both tied for third place with a record of 21.5-10.5.

While Rustic Ridge currently stands in 18th place in game play, Dale Lund led the men’s categories with 84 points in the high singles over Tim Lidell’s 79 and scored 235 in the men’s high series ahead of partner Ron Anderson’s 211. Rustic Ridge also earned wins in the team categories. They achieved 155 points over Baillie Lumber’s 152 in the team high singles while scoring 446 points in the high series.

For the women, Laughlin’s Lawn Care’s Sheryl Rowe scored a high of 84 points over Taylor’s Country House’s Jess Sherwood with 79. Prolifiq Sign Studio’s Kate Lloyd earned the victory in the high series with 226 points over Rowe’s 210.

Baillie Lumber-Tim Lidell and Mike Grant- picked up wins in the team handicap categories. They scored 229 points in the high singles over Webster’s Paving-Ed Webster and Bob Wells- with 223. In the team handicap high series, Baillie Lumber led with 636 points over Lloyd and partner Tresta Smith’s 627.

The South New Berlin Horseshoe club plays every Wednesday night.
