GREENE – After week 12, the top two teams in the Tri-County Horseshoe League are Octagon (131-45) and Betty’s Boys II behind them in second place with a 116-60 record. Octagon took down Betty’s Boys in a close 9-7 win while Betty’s Boys II defeated Ticknors with a score of 9-7 as well.
Riverside, Pond Crew, and Betty’s Boys round out the top five of the standings. Riverside and Seebers ended in a 8-8 tie as Pond Crew defeated Dam Team in a tight 9-7 battle.
Bowlodrome, sitting in the 10th spot, had a bye week while Brisben took care of last place Chuggers 10-6 to close out the week.
A quick reminder for all teams that Seebers Tavern will be hosting the mid-season meeting on Tuesday July 12 at 6 p.m. The Tri-County Horseshoe League plays every Thursday night.
