GREENE – After passing Riverside in late June, no one has come close to taking first away from Octagon in the Tri-County Horseshoe League. With a dominating 154-54 record, Octagon is 19 games ahead of Betty’s Boys II who remain in second place (135-73). Octagon defeated Chuggers, who continue to struggle in the final spot of the standings, 14-2. Betty’s Boys II faced Betty’s Boys and won 12-4.
Riverside is 10 games behind Betty’s Boys II in third place while Pond Crew and Betty’s Boys round out the top five of the standings. Riverside won in a tight 9-7 matchup against Pond Crew. Ticknors won big against Bowlodrome 12-4 as Dam Team had its bye week. Dam Team is currently tied with Seebers for eighth place. Seebers suffered a close 9-7 loss to Brisben to close out the 14th week. The Tri-County Horseshoe League plays every Thursday night.
