NEW BERLIN – For the week of August 11, the top five teams continue to keep their positions with Kelly’s Flowers, Ed Kohler and Lee Coon, sitting in first by nine games ahead of Harrington Tree Service, Danny Harrington and Lance Gage, in second. But, The Trophy Guy, Cindy and Joe Miller, are right behind Harrington Tree Service, so any wrong move and they will gladly take back second.

While these teams have remained dominant all season, the biggest move of the week came from the bottom five as Rustic Ridge, Dale Lund and Ron Anderson, finally found that top ten spot. Lund and Anderson took the top two spots in the men’s high singles and high series while their team swept out competition in all team categories. Lee Coon dragged behind them in the third hole for men’s high, while Kelly’s Flowers finished in second for the team high singles and high series.

For the women, Kate Lloyd and Jess Sherwood could not figure out who was going to be on top of the week’s high singles as they tied with a 74. Cindy Miller was right behind them with a 69. Lloyd got the upper hand in the high series with 220 points over Sherwood’s 211.

The South New Berlin Horseshoe club plays every Wednesday night.
